About Melissa

Melissa is primarily a web designer and front-end developer, with the interest and minor experience with more back-end programming languages. She would bet her life on her proficiency in HTML and CSS, and loves to explore the infinite possibilities of PHP, MySQL databases, and JavaScript. She is currently working at a digital marketing agency where she hones her front-end development skills, taking design comps and bringing them to life with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP and responsive development for mobile phones and tablets.

Along with desktop-ready corporate websites, such as Dallas' Rosewood Corporation trifecta - Rosewood Corporation, Rosewood Property, and Rosewood Court - she also has completed design and development for the bigger screen. She designed and developed a kiosk program for the Irvine Company's Hyatt Center in Chicago, Illinois, which involved intensive UX design research. Although she does minor back-end development, she enjoys creating and venturing through database tables and figuring out the best ways to store data. She also loves creating custom content management systems that her clients can easily use to update their own websites.

She currently lives in foresty coastline of South Orange County, California with her 140-pound White Shepherd, Tiger. She enjoys playing tennis, ping-pong, and is a proud lifetime Disneyland annual passholder .
